When I was 16 I took a road trip across the US with my mom and baby brother. I took at least 20 rolls of film worth the photos during that week long trip, capturing everything I could, even the dullest of moments. This obession continued as I went through high school, a year of college and then as I started a family. I am always photographing my kids, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews; rocks, trees, flowers, old bikes, falling apart cars and anything else that catches my eye. I have always loved to jump in the car and just drive. As I have always lived in the city these trips usually ended up taking me out onto winding country roads. I adore the wide open spaces, the rolling hills and the glimpse I got of another way of life. I have embraced this passion of exploration and incorporated it into my love of photography creating fine art images.
